Lesson 7

Students helped move the entire classroom into a new seating arrangement.

We started the block with a piece from comedian Pete Holmes wherein he describes using "me" to refer to others.

We discussed John Rawls' Veil of Ignorance  as a possible starting point to figure out which guidelines were the most just/fair - and students were reminded to think back to the hierarchy of needs presented yesterday.

Students received a reminder of the various elements they need to include in their presentations (going back over the Power Point).

They are specifically reminded to consider the core values of their communities, and then to think outside the box as to how they can put those values into action.

Tomorrow, students will receive their rubrics and presentation planning sheets.

HMWRK - Bring any and all materials needed for your project!
